Welcome to The Curious Owl!
The Curious Owl is a creative studio designed with adults in mind. A calm, welcoming space to slow down, make something beautiful, and enjoy the process as much as the finished piece.
We work with high-quality materials, artist-grade paints and thoughtfully chosen embellishments, creating an experience that feels considered, relaxed and a little bit special. Whether you’re joining a guided workshop or booking a Craft Bar session, this is creativity without the chaos.
Our studio is primarily for adults (16+), with young people aged 12–16 welcome only when accompanied by a crafting adult. It’s not a space for little ones — and that’s very much by design.

Meet Emma & Sally
The Curious Owl was created by Emma and Sally — two creatives who believe that getting stuck into something creative can be just as good for the soul as it is for the hands (and far more fun than most forms of self-care).
Between us, we’ve spent years running workshops, holding space, encouraging curiosity and helping people realise they’re far more creative than they think.
We opened the studio to create a space that feels welcoming, grown-up and a little bit magical. Where adults can slow down, play, and reconnect with making.
Whether you’re here for joyful creativity, mindful calm or something in between, you’ll find high-quality materials, friendly guidance and absolutely no pressure to “get it right”.
